We have to continue to fight for justice. Being a black woman has its challenges, and not to be safe in your own home because of the police is upsetting. I am trying to wrap my head around all of the recent events, but I can not understand, I can not stop thinking if I am going to be next if my cousin will be next, or my best friend. People continuously say it is not safe to run the streets because anything can happen; well, it seems like even when you are home, anything can happen.

I want justice for all women. We need cases opened and investigated; this is not okay. We can't just give them a hashtag and keep going like nothing happened. It is not right, and I am not okay with it. You should be able to be stopped by the police and not end up dead. You should be able to sit in your home and not worry about the cops killing you. I am now scared to call the police, and that is not how it should be; things must change. I will continue to share the story with those who we remember. I will continue to use my platform to share information. All these women deserve justice. Please follow my blog while I will continue to update on the next steps we need to take for justice.
